Powerful Performance
The EZIII electric edger has raised the bar for ice arena edging equipment. Its three AGM deep-cycle 12 V batteries were specifically designed to perform for the application. The 4.8 kW (6.5 hp) electric motor at 36 volts delivers industry-leading power and can easily accomplish the task at hand. The EZIII is accompanied by a battery charger with advanced high frequency switching mode power supply technology.
The wide 14-inch (356 mm) cut brought by its eight-sided cutters clears a level and even path around the edge of the ice sheet. Each of the eight-sided cutters has specially honed edges that provide a more effective cut, last longer, and save replacement time and cost.
The EZIII has a unique adjustment handle so its depth of cut is infinitely variable and not limited to factory presets.
Ease of Operation
The design of the EZIII was driven by ease of operation with optimal results. Its contoured snow chute directs snow towards center of ice, away from the boards and operator. Large rubber wheels ensure wander-free control and stability on the ice and ease of travel off-ice. Its replaceable board guide allows a tight fit against the kick plate, while protecting the base of the edger from wear.
Depth control handle is close at hand, allowing precise adjustments on demand. Lift/lower handle allows the operator to easily switch from cutting to travel mode at the conclusion of the edging process.
Quality Construction
The heavy duty steel plate body and runners ensure smooth control and effective on-ice performance. The fiberglass housing allows easy access to the batteries and motor. Baked-on powder paint and zinc electroplating provide additional corrosion protection. The EZIII has three powerful spill-proof sealed batteries, affording additional piece of mind.
